CUBASE 10: How to use AAF Export and Import - mixdown.online

Chris Selim - Mixdown Online

AAF Export/Import is a way you can export your session to collaborate with someone who doesn't work with the same DAW as yours or to simply open your session on another DAW.

**AAF retains all of the region names, placement, length, volume data, clip gain, cross fades, fade ins/outs, pans and markers if the receiving software supports it.

*** AAF is similar to OMF but contains more information than OMF. OMF loses the volume automation and names of the tracks when exporting and importing from one application to another. AAF retains the volume automation and the track names.
